A few days ago I mentioned that we live in Aurora, Colorado. This is where the Colorado theater shooting recently took place. I decided to pack up Caleb and I and pay our respects to those who lost their lives and to those that lost someone they loved. I had it in my heart to visit near the area, my prayers and thoughts are with all who were effected. I cant imagine the emotions and feelings that these people are going through, yet they need to know they are not alone. It was nice to see others like myself, visiting the areas. Candles, balloons, teddy bears, notes and flowers everywhere. A reality that so many here are in so many others thoughts and prayers. On top of a hill, were White crosses that family members and loved ones of the victim's were starting to put names on. One man wrote on the cross "my brother in arms" then he prayed with another man, so moving and so real.
To actually live in the place where this tragedy happened...I can't even imagine. Thank you for sharing your visit. It makes it all the more real. It's all so sad.
