We visited berrypatchfarms this weekend and hand harvested tons of organic berries straight from the farm, talk about yummy & fun! I have been on a farm kick lately, with the seasons changing I have been on the hunt for farms and orchards for pick it yourself produce. Caleb and I spent hours on the farm picking and then later testing. The strawberries were some of the best I have ever had, super sweet! I also tried Golden raspberries for the first time. We had our lunch there and then headed on home, I'm on the hunt for a good homemade raspberry pie recipe! Watch soon to see if I found one and the results

OH WOW!!! I've never been to a berry patch before, and it looks like so much fun! I've also never tried golden raspberries, so I'm wondering how those taste. Hope you find a good recipe, because I wanna see!!!

It was so fun, do go if you can!! The golden raspberries were so different in taste and a bit sour, but still good ;)
DeleteOh your pictures are gorgeous, almost like a photo essay. Your son is so lucky to have been to the patch; it's so important to have kids see where food really comes from!

thank you so much!! I love hearing this and helps to me keep going on this blog :) I agree both my son and I learned tons from the trip and is his second time picking fresh produce. I really need to look into growing a small garden myself.
