Caleb helped aid me in this one, hes so excited to see it posted on the blog today. Summers, almost here full throttle and that means lots of smoothies in this household. Its a wonderful way to get more fruits and vegetables incorporated into our diets! PLUS they are just so yummy, what a awesome mid-day snack or lunch.
ingredients:
spinach leaves
2 bananas
strawberries
ice
organic pineapple juice
pineapple
{I recommend using all fresh fruits and vegetables}
how to:
blend 4-5 ice cubes in blender, add in handful of spinach, add in few slices of pineapple, add in 2 whole bananas, 4 strawberries, 1/4" cup pineapple juice. Blend it all together until smooth and enjoy!!
Tell Caleb I was very excited to see this GREEN smoothie (and I pinned it right away)! =0) It looks awesome, and I bet it tastes even better. I plan on making it this weekend. YUM!
