A free, totally fun activity to do with your child. I was on the hunt for something "free" for us to do and remembered last year this was a hit so we did it again this year! Message Rocks, are a wonderful way to place "positive" words and images in hopes that it will lift some one's day and make them smile. You paint each rocks and then once dry, go to a park/trail and hide/place them in different spots. Like: bushes, cracks, fences, ground, flowers etc.
I found that using acrylic pain is best, it dries nice and wont wash off

Saw some of these pics from your Instagram feed already (is that cheating?), and I was just waiting for a post on it so that I could see the rocks better. =0)
ReplyDeleteThese little treasures would also make great gifts for gardening friends. Such a fun (and free!) activity to do!

PS - Meet & Greet hop is open, if you'd like to join us and link up this week.
