The week of all things Halloween
This is the coolest pumpkin to date, that we have ever carved.
We have been super busy getting things ready for Halloween and enjoying Caleb's week off from Fall break. Wanted to share this last week with you all, it was a busy one but oh-so-fun!

More Halloween
WHEW! Had enough of these darn Halloween posts? We have seriously been THAT busy, you know what? I LOVE it, it drives me "batty" to have to stay home for the weekend. I am a busy body and prefer a busy schedule to keep me busy and my mind running.
So Caleb was off for a 1 1/2" week Fall break, I sent him to class with some treat Halloween goodie bags for all the kids in his class. He was excited to pass them out. Same day we passed out all of Caleb's b-day invites as well, happening all too fast! His birthday is coming up on Nov 8th and his party is on the 9th at a small arcade here in town.
Caleb also hand drew his first pumpkin design for his pumpkin, scaled to fit and outlined it. I did the carving, it turned out just perfect!

The Wildlife Experience, Halloween
Our second year attending The Wildlife Experience's Treat Or Treat off the street, Halloween Program. This year was really cool because they had a bat specialist bring in two live bats and we were able to get pretty close to them. I also got to dress up, first time in 15 years! Boy did that feel great, why haven't I been doing this all along? Just now starting to live a little. So Caleb was Dracula and I was a witch. Day full of fun activities. Busy time of year!

childrens museum trick or treat
children's museum trick or treat
I kinda ran out of October days to get this all posted HA! Bear with me as I get it all posted.
This one was marked on the calendar for a month + now, Caleb loved it as usual. We did crafts, dancing, ate some lunch and played games. On top of that were some new things that the museum had and we entertained ourselves with.
Three guys were playing some pretty darn good beats on their drums made of kitchen cans etc. Caleb drew the crowd in by dancing! Got their attention
He was so happy there was a ceiling that had bubbles that would drop from the top and you would try and catch it and Caleb did! There were adults who were struggling to do this and Caleb nailed it the first time. LUCKY.

Trick or Treat
Trick or Treat
We started off at 6:00 p.m. and finished at 7:30 p.m., Caleb had so much fun and was running to each house so excited. There were a few that were totally decked out and had people hiding in the bushes to scare others, great decor and fog machines. Caleb handled it like a pro, nothing was stopping him from getting that candy ha! We watched a interesting program on t.v. before we headed out telling the origins of trick or treating, pumpkins and Halloween VERY interesting! So we dug through all the candy when we got home and threw out the questionable ones and have a huge bowl on the counter leftover. Till next year, we had so much fun! I have so much more Halloween things that we did that I will be posting, I just didn't have enough days! We have been so busy with all the fun activities that happens at this time of year.
